Still Waiting For Winter

Not that I'm complaining mind you! After last winters 90+ inches of snow, this one could just go skipping on by and I'd be a happy camper! By this time last year we had already had one major snow storm under our belts and were working our way to "snowmeggedeon" as it's being called here in Baltimore.

Anyway, this morning we woke up to a dusting of snow and a 2 hr school delay. It's been cold here, and we have had a few dustings of snow so far this winter but nothing major. Although according to the weather man all that can change next Tuesday.

  1. We are supposed to get a little tiny bit of snow here over the weekend. It will be 60 then drop to the 30s. So right now it feels like spring but in a day it will be like winter.

  3. Parsley,

Bring on the 60's! I still have to clean out my front perennial bed before spring gets here...I'm way behind this year.

They did say something about maybe another dusting tomorrow but more and it could be alot on Tuesday as it's coming up the east coast.

  4. Amy,

Yes, last year my hubby and boys made a bunch of money too...but then other things didn't get done around here cause they were worn out from all the digging out. And needless to say, I had to dig out my own car, cause they were digging out everyone else!

The way people drive around here 1" or 6" will still have the same end results....tons of accidents!

  5. Wow Dee, you sure got a lot of snow last year! I hope you don't get another "snowmeggedeon" this year, but I'm sure snow is on it's way. We've got some snow on the ground here... and it's cold, winter is definitely in the air. I posted some of my snow pics on my blog ~ snow sure is beautiful!

You're blog is so pretty all dressed up for winter! :)

  6. I would love to wake up to a dusting of snow. Still nothing for us this winter and that is odd. We got up to 65 yesterday, walking around in short sleeves. That hasn't happened in many years!! I guess that's what we get for being in the central US... in Oklahoma you get weather from the North, South, East, and West so you never knew what will happen, lol!

  7. Trina,

Yep we sure did get a lot of snow last year. Woke up to another dusting this morning. That's ok though as no one had to be anywhere and the pace is slower on the weekends.

Yeah, I changed my blog background and banner...should have been changed before this but didn't have time to look for a new background that suited me. This will one do for a month or so.

  8. Carol,

I hear you on being cold...it's been cold here but not much snow, thankfully!
Spring is what, just 10 weeks away?

  9. Angie,

Awww...snow is so over-rated! I can't say I would miss it if we didn't get any but maybe I would. I've never lived anywhere that there wasn't 4 seasons.
