Workin' At The Car Wash

Today Ian's robotics club held a car wash to help raise money for their trip to Anaheim in 2 weeks. The whole club showed up to help even with it being spring break. It was nice to see all the kids and adults there working as a team.

They raised close to $500 for the 4 hours of work. Way to go Towson Terminators! On to Anaheim and the trip to The World Robotics Competition.

Ian is so excited...he's counting down the days. Even if they don't win, it will be a great experience for them.

  4. Belated congratulations to Ian and his teammates on an amazing accomplishment!! Wishing them luck in the championships - and luck in raising their expenses....Yikes - must be warmer there than here - wouldn't be doing any car washes in these parts - especially not in shorts! ;o) Congratulations too to Tricia on winning your giveaway.... Sigh - another thing I missed out on!! Wishing you a Joyous Easter Dee!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

    1. Robin,

Thanks...Ian and the other kids really worked hard this year on their robots. It was nice to see their efforts pay off. It's in the 60's here. Sorry you missed my giveaway. I'll be doing another one real soon, so keep on the lookout. Have a Happy Easter.

Yep, this group is a nice bunch of kids. Only 6 kids and 2 adults are going, but the others still came out to support their team mates. Have a Happy Easter.
