Old Man Winter Returned....



It's amazing how we can go from the above picture and 70 degree weather to this in 5 short days...


While we didn't get all that much by most standards...5 inches, it was enough to close schools for the day and to delay colleges.
I sure hope that old man winter is willing to go some place else til next year. I was enjoying the nicer weather and temps we were having. Hurry up spring!

    I know what you mean, we have been having 60 and 70 degree temps, don't want to go back to 30 and 40, winter just needs to end. March is just next week, my flowers are emerging, spring needs to come and stay. By the way nice job on your mulch. Vicky

    This winter has been quite something! We have not had big temperature swings like you... but we did get into the 40's for a couple of days... could even see grass here and there! But then it snowed about 11" and it's freezing once again. My daughter lives in Texas and they have been having temps in the 70's after a lot of snow and ice. I agree... "Hurry up spring!"

    Yes, winter needs to end and NOW! We were so much colder in December than usual and January wasn't that much better. My sedum were popping up. They don't mind some cold temps but I don't think they like snow. It's suppose to warm up into the 50's again by the weekend. I sure hope this is winter last gasp.

    Yes, the winter weather has been wild all over the country. I guess I shouldn't complain as it could be much worse here, like last year, but I am so tired of cold and winter...I want spring!

    Same thing over here. Had a couple nice warmer days (a tease) and then back to the cold weather! I think everyone is ready for Spring to get here and stay!!

    Can't wait till this all melts again......u got 5" I got 9"....it was so nice the day before we got...I was outside cleaning with the anticipation of cutting outside and POOF! The white stuff cometh!
    And you know me....I LOVE WINTER.....NOT this year...my hormones won't let me. I came over to join you Dee on the DARK side!!!! LOL
