I Was Awarded The Versatile Blogger Award

A big thank you to Deb of PaxtonValleyFolkArt for awarding me The Versatile Blogger Award. It's nice to be thought of. As part of the award I need to nominate 15 blogs to receive this award and list 7 facts about myself.

So here goes the blogs my award goes to...

A Primitive Place~Tammy
Angies Raggedy Patch
Barb's Heartstrokes
CatNapInn Primitives
Firecrackerkid
Lavender Dreams
Countryworkshop
Waxed Out Creative Life
The Rusty Thimble
The Krazy Kraft Lady
Sweet Prarie Dwellings
Rock River Stitches
Ravenwood Whimzies
Pine Tree Prims
Olde Annie Primitives

I realize that some of the blog that I have nominated are "award" free but still hope that while they love to be award free, they still will post the 7 things about themselves...

Ok, so onto the 7 things about me...

1. I'm the youngest.
2. I have 2 sisters, no brothers, much to my fathers dismay.
3. I married the same man twice, 9 days apart....what was I thinking? LOL!
4. I'm a Gemini...hubby says I have an evil twin that comes out, so guess my astrological sign is appropriate.
5. I have 2 years in an accounting degree. I stopped when I had my 2nd child.
6. I hope to live in a log home someday on the 6 acres of land we own.
7. I'm the only female in a houseful of males...even the bunny and the bird are males!

Boy, that was fun and tough...to figure out what to pick...Hope everyone has a good time answering their "about me" questions.

  3. Linda,

Yep....we had a female bird for awhile. We found her on the cage floor dead one day. I tell everyone she couldn't take all the testosterone here and did herself in. She was a cool bird...a little bit b*tchy, but very cool otherwise! She would hiss at you when you walked by the cage if she had laid an egg...

Do you want the evil one to give you a phone call at 6 am your time? She can! LOL! Or how about a tweet?

  6. Hey Dee, you left a comment on being a bad neighbor..no you are not..I go through the same thing with my neighbors and its frustrating as none of them do their yard work and they all have maples in their front yards and guess who has to deal with it..so yesterday and monday I raked and dumped leaves right back in their yard...I have told 2 of the neighors that its not my job to rake up their tree..so keeping my fingers crossed that they take care of whats theirs..or the next time..I will be asking them to cut their trees down...that is why I am ripping out my front landscape as it is too messy to get rid of the leaves every year and I needed to do something different with it.getting to old to want to take care of it..and just wish that the neighbors showed a little respect for others..we always did with our trees living in vancouver..so keep tossing away..I am right behind you;)

  8. Gina,

Mine laughs when I say something about them not raking...After about 30 bags of leaves that I raked last year and I only have a little, and I mean little (about 15yrs old) Linden tree, I started blowing them back on their lawns...into the street, wherever..just not on my lawn anymore. I keep telling the hubby I much preferred being in the country where the leaves in my yard were from my trees... I do like my neighbors, but just wish they would clean up their share of the leaves.
