Everything is BIGGER in Texas!

I just completed 2 custom order signs that were huge. The one above is going to Texas and I guess the saying is true....everything is BIGGER in Texas. That sign is 18x38". It doesn't look so big sitting on the ground where I took the picture from, but it is.

This sign is for a customer in Michigan. She asked for me to take one of my smaller 5 1/2"x12" signs and make it 18"x36". You can really see how big this sign is when compared to the height of the back of my vintage metal lawn chair that it's leaning against. The house this is going into must be huge.

Had a fun time figuring out how to cut these large signs on my stencil cutter, and have got it down to a science now, I think! Also, figuring out how to pack and ship these size signs could be problematic but with enough padding, cardboard and tape I can ship anything. Now just have to hope that UPS workers have the common sense not to walk on the box!

Until next time...
